To create a culture of “doing good;” for our staff, our guests, our community, and our planet; one pizza at a time.
With this credo at the forefront we have come a long way since 2004. We pride ourselves on incorporating local into everything we do. From our use of local Canadian organic flours, produce and meats, to handcrafting everything fresh on site. Creating a culture of empathy and sustainability has helped us grow into more than just a restaurant.
Every year the Rocky Mountain Flatbread team pushes forward in the pursuit of “doing good” – here are some of our accomplishments:
Collaborating with over 50 LOCAL farmers, suppliers and producers
Support and promote local breweries & wineries.
Serve 100% certified sustainable seafood through Vancouver Ocean Wise Program
We only use packaging that is 100% recyclable and compostable to stop waste from entering our landfills.
Diverting 30 tonnes of waste from landfill through recycling and composting
Food is a big deal to us – where it comes from, how it is prepared and of course how it tastes.
We believe in buying from local farmers and suppliers and creating everything in house to create the tastiest and more nutricious flatbread pizzas, pastas, salads, soups and desserts.
Our food promises:
- Use 100% local organic flours, 100% Canadian cheeses & 100% maple syrup
- Use free range meats & local eggs
- Use only Ocean Wise seafood
- Use local grown seasonal veggies
- To create all of our foods in house – dough, tomato sauce, soups, salad dressings, brownies ….
- To keep all of our meals free from preservatives, soy and gmos.
